Australian Beverage Merchants presents
Rare Japanese whisky — from the sacred forests of Wakayama and the snow country of Fukushima — imported in case quantities for the Australian trade.
Worldwide Whisky Co. is a Ballarat-based wholesale importer of premium Japanese whisky, operated by Australian Beverage Merchants. We source directly through a licensed Osaka export house — MK Trading — with over a decade of experience moving fine Japanese spirits into Australia, the United States and Singapore.
We sell by the case, to the trade only: restaurants, bars, bottle shops and hospitality groups who understand that great whisky is not bought — it is chosen.
Four expressions, two houses, one standard. All available in carton quantities for wholesale enquiry.

Kishu-Kumano · Wakayama
Pure malt drawn from the sacred waters of the Kii Peninsula.
Sasanokawa Shuzo · Fukushima
Mild, smooth and graceful — malt and grain in quiet balance.
Asaka Distillery · Fukushima
Three years in first-fill bourbon — citrus-bright, floral at the finish. Mountain cherry, in name and spirit.
India is the most exciting whisky frontier on earth. We are quietly curating a portfolio worthy of it — premium Indian single malts for Australian wholesale.
Register your interestIn the sacred forests of the Kii Peninsula — a UNESCO World Heritage landscape laced with thousand-year-old pilgrimage trails — Kishu-Kumano draws pristine mountain water and ancient hinoki cypress into whiskies of rare purity.
Their emblem is the yatagarasu, the three-legged crow of Kumano myth: the divine guide said to have led emperors through these mountains. It marks every bottle as it marks the path — patiently, and in the right direction.

Two and a half centuries of brewing wisdom stand behind every cask at Sasanokawa Shuzo, one of Japan's oldest continuously operating producers. When whisky distillation resumed at Asaka in 2016, Tohoku's oldest whisky house simply picked up a thread it had never truly dropped.
From it comes Yamazakura — the wild mountain cherry — whisky that blooms briefly, beautifully, and is gone.
We supply wholesale cases to restaurants, bars, bottle shops, importers and hospitality groups across Australia. Every enquiry is handled personally — no portals, no minim-spend games. Tell us about your venue; we'll find the right fit.
